Acupuncture & TCM questions
Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture needles are very fine and single-use. Most people feel a brief prick or a dull, heavy sensation, and many find the session relaxing.
Can I have a herbal consultation without acupuncture?
Yes. A herbal medicine consultation on its own is $90 for the initial visit and $50 for follow-ups. Herbs are charged separately.
Can I claim acupuncture on my health fund?
Yes, if your extras cover includes acupuncture or Chinese medicine. Both clinics have HICAPS.
